Bringing together people, cooking, stories and delicious food
Rosemont Community Kitchen was created to build community and support the people of the Rosemont neighbourhood in Nelson, primarily through the preparing and sharing of food.
During the Covid-19 Pandemic our Community Kitchen has moved some of our projects online!
The vision of a Community Kitchen to serve our Rosemont neighbourhood began when the new church was planned in 2013.
The versatile community space on the lower level of the church is home to our large, community-building kitchen and dining room.
In this space, the people of Ascension through Rosemont Community Kitchen have opened their arms to the community so that people can build connections, learn and share skills, enjoy quality food and provide comfort and community.
