The Coldest Night of the Year Walk
ASCENSION has a COLDEST NIGHT of the year TEAM!
You can help raise funds for Nelson Cares Society which will go to helping people in our city who are under-housed! Our team did the walk on Saturday, Feb 25, 2023, 9am. Recognizing the needs of people who are homeless or unsafely sheltered, Ascension has had a team that has participated and fund-raised for the Coldest Night of the Year Walk in Nelson annually since 2017.
We gather with several hundred citizens of Nelson and walk 2 km to raise funds for improved low-income housing in our town.
Your generous donations to our Ascension Team in 2023 raised over $2000.00 to help provide housing in Nelson through Nelson Cares! THANK YOU!
